Dear Reader,

I wrote this book for the purpose of sharing. I wanted to share my experiences on the road of life as I have lived it. I invite you to read the stories I have included within. If it “rings”, if it resonates with you, I hope the message is uplifting and helps you along your path.

For me, many psalms, poems, songs by musicians, spoken words, and shared thoughts have been guiding. Being free, I explored any and all vibrations put forth by any medium by Human Beings. Not all have been Truth, but I have learned to discern Truth from Falsehood. This is a process I was not born with. For me now, my understanding of The Truth crosses all boundaries. Truth has come from Ancients in far away, long faded cultures, as well as contemporary sources. This bespeaks my values as a Freedomist.

About the book

The Core Message

At the heart of Psalms of a Prodigal Freedomist is the movement from Estrangement to Alignment: closing the painful distance between who you are in your heart (Essence) and how you are currently living (Existence).

This is not a call to join a religion, political party, cult, or institution. It is a gentle invitation to stop seeking freedom only “out there,” listen inward, reclaim personal responsibility, and trust the Internal Guidance System already waiting inside you.

What You Will Explore Inside

Spiritual Freedom Beyond Dogma

Moving past fear and scarcity toward trust in the Divine.

The Healing Power of Forgiveness

Releasing judgment of yourself and others to open the heart to love.

From Scarcity to Abundance

Recognizing that well-being, sufficiency, and peace surround us right now.

The House of Character

How core values form the structure of a peaceful, honest life.

Living in the Vibrant Present

Stepping out of past regrets or future scheming to live fully in the Now.

Featured chapter excerpts

A Glimpse Into the Pages

Here is a glimpse into the pages of Psalms of a Prodigal Freedomist.

Excerpt 1

On Values & Character

“The values one holds are the planks of the House of Character in which one lives.”

“Our values shape the way we perceive life, interpret events, and attribute meaning to our experiences. Much is made about being value-neutral, but our values impact everything down to our most basic individual level. I expose my values in these words not to persuade you to believe as I do, but to encourage you to search for Truth on the basis of your own heart.”

Excerpt 2

What It Means to Be a Freedomist

“I am a Freedomist. I believe in Freedom. I believe Freedom is a Universal Right.”

“My path to freedom begins with me. I must free my own mind from thoughts and beliefs that restrict me from accepting what I truly believe inside my heart: that all humans are equal, that we are all Children of the Infinite One, that peace is possible, and that abundance is accessible to all.”

Excerpt 3

The Healing of Estrangement

“Estrangement is the distance between my Essence and my Existence.”

“Essence is my ideals, my hopes, my heart-felt beliefs. Existence is the rules I was taught and accepted through social conditioning. Healing is resolving Estrangement—bridging the gap, living mindful of my ideals, and walking in the Vibrant Present.”

Excerpt 4 · Ringing Psalms

Sunrise Prayer for the Lone Pagan

Hey-ya, Great Spirit, for this I pray;
strength to live another day.
Live and struggle, carry the fight,
Not half-hearted, but with all my might.
Strength to live, not knowing fear,
Strength not above shedding a tear…
Guided by the soft, spiritual hands
of The One Great Spirit, Amen.
