My first book, The Prodigal Freedomist, was written for the purpose of sharing. I wanted to share my experiences on the road of life as I have lived it. I invite you to read the stories I have included within. If it “rings”, if it resonates with you, I hope the message is uplifting and helps you along your path.

For me, many psalms, poems, songs by musicians, spoken words, and shared thoughts have been guiding. Being free, I explored any and all vibrations put forth by any medium by Human Beings. Not all have been Truth, but I have learned to discern Truth from Falsehood. This is a process I was not born with. For me now, my understanding of The Truth crosses all boundaries. Truth has come from Ancients in far away, long faded cultures, as well as contemporary sources. This bespeaks my values as a Freedomist.

Still, I have run up against “this copyright business.” In my desire to share with you the wisdom and truth as I have come to identify it, the insights of others, the learned aspects of what it means to be a Human Being and to answer age old questions, I have encountered the restrictions that have developed around “property.” Ideas, it turns out, can be owned by entities, not necessarily just individuals, and not used or shared without granted permission usually accompanied by some form of compensation. I have found this, as a Freedomist, to be disconcerting, limiting, and disturbing. You will be able to learn more about this in my upcoming third book.

Ideas from individuals who died 200 years ago cannot be repeated freely in a published book. Things allegedly spoken, not written, by Great Native American Chiefs cannot be shared because these allegedly spoken words are owned. Ironically, these Great Chiefs neither spoke this language nor did they read or write and who wrote these words down cannot be identified, yet they can be owned by some entity. This even extends to Mythological beings, whom may or may not have actually existed, and there is no confirmation, just the legend of their existence.

It seems that in our Modern Times, what is true and what is false is not the priority of our culture; the most important thing is Who Owns It! I cannot abide this. I acknowledge this. I operate within the parameters of these constraints. I am aware of the Falsehood of the premise of the idea of Property. Until we learn that sharing is the basis of Love we will never be free.
